Directive Plan
The Escacc Development Plan (DP) is a planning tool that organises our objectives, making them transparent and accessible, also making it possible to gauge the achievements accomplished.
The DP is structured into three distinct sections. The first section establishes the main values that govern the Foundation’s work. These values inspire and form part of the objectives drawn up by the Foundation, whether already included in the DP or which may arise in the future.
Below we list the first section of founding objectives, which are those that make up the basic core objectives that the Foundation pursues with its constitution.
The DP then lists a second more diverse section of objectives which we call sectorial. This section is organised into four sub-sections, each of which includes the objectives that relate to the different spheres of work the Foundation undertakes and the way it organises, grows and relates to the particular setting. Coinciding with the three main spheres of work that the Foundation is involved in, it has established three different sub-sections: those of the professionals, the companies and civil society. The fourth sub-section is the organisational one, in which the Foundation’s more instrumental objectives are dealt with, both in terms of individuals (sponsors and partners) and institutions and organisations.
Founding objectives

- To become an active agent among all the players involved in the culture industry and ensure that it is a catalyst among civil society, professionals and companies.
- To position the Catalan culture industry as a model international benchmark due to its quality.
- To promote, on an annual basis, self-financing finalist projects that fully comply with the Foundation’s objectives in relation to the culture industry.
- To have an influence over the decision-making processes of the public authorities and political organisations in questions relating to the culture industry.
